City of West Palm Beach residents who are physically unable to take their garbage and recycling containers to the curbside are eligible to receive disabled door to curb service. This service is provided at no additional charge.
Illegal dumping is any unauthorized disposal of waste on any public or private property. Report ILLEGAL DUMPING: If you observe someone illegally dumping, please report it by submitting the online reporting form.
Prior to requesting a trash container, you must set up service with Public Utilities Customer Service. Sanitation charges are included in the city water bill. To request a new 48 or 96 gallon container or modify the size or quantity of your current container(s) please complete the work request below.
Residential Customers: May request a special pick up of yard or bulk waste for piles that exceed the guidelines of 4 pieces or a pile that is larger than 4'x4'x18'.
Commercial Customers: Commercial Customers may request a special pick up for items not permitted in a dumpster.
City of West Palm Beach issues a garbage container to residents who receive collection service via automatic lift service trucks. It is the residents' responsibility to secure and maintain the issued container at all times.
